Description
Doctor Frank E. Hoecker is a radium sleuth. He is searching for the radium that was lost from a local doctor's office last January 31st. Doctor Hoecker is using a Lauritsen electrometer to search a barrel of trash in the basement of the Medical Arts Building. He isn't pleased with the results as the highly sensitive device failed to reveal the presence of radium int he barrel or the immediate vicinity. The missing radium is worth an estimated $3,000. Doctor Hoecker is dressed in a dark, pinstripe suit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 3, 1940.
