Description
Bill Skelley, of the Fort Worth Cats, stepping on first base as first baseman Jerry Witte, of the San Antonio Missions, takes a throw from the shortstop. Witte is shown lunging forward for the catch, while Skelley is close behind him, crossing the base. The umpire called it an out. Both men are dressed in baseball uniforms for their respective teams; Skelly has a Cats' logo on his jersey and Witte has the number "12" on the back of his jersey.
