Description
Doctor and Mrs. L. R. Scarborough are examining a silver coffee service presented to them at a Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary celebration. The gift was give by Doctor George W. Truett on behalf of a group of friends. It was a personal expression of the donors' appreciation of Doctor and Mrs. Scarborough's work at the Seminary. Doctor Scarborough is dressed in a three piece suit. Mrs. Scarborough is wearing a hat and a long sleeve dress. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition February 03, 1940.
