The Golden Gloves state tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Morris Corona is representing Beaumont, Texas in the welterweight division. He is shown holding his trophy after being crowned State Champion of the welterweight class. He is dressed in a robe and has his hands wrapped. Corona will go on to represent Texas in the Tournament of Champions in Chicago, Illinois.
