    Description

    These students were winners of Good Citizenship Medals annually presented by the chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution to a boy and girl in each of the junior high schools. This group received medals from the Mary Isham Keith Chapter. They are, left to right, on the front row, James Garrison (J. P. Elder Junior High), Helen Grace Whipple (Meadowbrook Junior High), Mary Emma Houlihan (Handley Junior High) and William Lee Andrews (Diamond Hill Junior High); second row, Polly Hampton (J. P. Elder), Betty Jo Gray (Diamond Hill), Nancy Hartman (McLean Junior High) and Baird Wonsey (McLean); third row, John Ervin McDonald (Rosemont Junior High), Patsy Curry (Jennings Avenue Junior High), James Pinto (Meadowbrook) and Earl York (Handley); back row, Richard Jones (Jennings) and Sarah Bell Clayton (Rosemont).
