Description
These 37 boys and girls, first grade pupils at South Hi-Mount School, were customers at the post office as each purchased postal savings stamps to be used later, when they have $25 worth, in purchase of a defense bond. Postmaster Henry D. Young was the salesman. Postmaster Young is sitting at a desk and is surrounded by the children. He is wearing a suit. On the desk is a pen and ink stand, a telephone and various documents.
