Description
Making a final check of plans and specifications for the new $300,000 girls' dormitory at Texas Christian University (TCU) before sending them to contractors, R. Houston Foster, seated at left, president of the TCU trustees, is shown in consultation with architects. The others, left to right, are H. F. Neville, standing, of the staff of Wyatt C. Hedrick, chief architect for the $1,500,000 building expansion; Joseph R. Pelich, standing, one of the three architects associated in the planning of the building program; and T. O. Baker, seated at right, also of the Hedrick firm. Mr. Baker is holding a book. All the men are wearing suits. Mr. Foster an Mr. Baker are sitting at a desk with the other men standing between them. On the desk are blueprints.
