Floods plagues many West Texas communities over the weekend. Water covered the streets of Munday. This picture of trucks drawn up on a flooded thoroughfare in front of a gas station was taken within a block of the Munday city hall. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 5, 1941.
