Description
Aerial view at Possum Kingdom dam looking downstream from the newly formed lake was taken Saturday, May 3, when water at the dam was 119 feet deep. Monday, May 5, the lake was 135 feet deep at the dam and was pouring over the concrete top of the structure six feet and eight inches deep. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening, May 5, 1941.
