Description
These eight Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary students have been accepted as missionaries by the Foreign Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, and will go in the summer to their posts in Africa, South America and Mexico. They are, left to right, Reverend J. B. Adair, Lone Oak, Texas, and Mrs. Adair, Hughes Springs, Texas, who will go to Lagos, Nigeria, Africa; Reverend T. N. Clinkscales, Calcis, Alabama, and Mrs. Clinkscales, Florian, Louisiana, who will serve at Parana, Brazil; Reverend W. J. Webb, Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Webb, who were appointed to Mexico; Miss Mildred Smith, Winters, Texas, who will go to Iwo, Nigeria, and Miss Katherine Cozzens, Fort Worth, Texas, who will serve at Bello Horizonte, Brazil. All the students are standing on steps in front of a building. The words "Praise Ye The Lord" are engraved on the building behind them. The women are wearing dresses and hats, and the men are wearing suits.
