Winners in the annual junior oratorical contest sponsored by the Seventh District Optimist International. Top to bottom, they are James Dixon, 16, of Shreveport, Louisiana, Bill Riley, 14, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Hilliard Herod, 14, of Dallas, Texas. James was the first place winner, Bill won third place and Hilliard won second place. They are standing against a blank wall, all wearing suits.
