Description
Doctor L. R. Scarborough (left), president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and T. N. Carswell, of Abilene, Texas, attended the inaugural ceremonies for Doctor W. R. White as the seventh president of Hardin-Simmons University. The two men are standing in front of a wall, facing each other, both wearing suits and eyeglasses. Mr. Carswell is holding a copy of the program for the inauguration.
