Miss Sudie McAtee, left, presenting a check for $763.50 to Herbert Walker for aid to Britain. The money was raised at the lecture of Dorothy Thompson, columnist and radio commentator, sponsored by the Fort Worth, Texas, Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) at the Municipal Auditorium. Miss McAtee is financial secretary of the AAUW and Mr. Walker is chairman of the Fort Worth, Texas, committee of the British War Relief Society. Miss McAtee is wearing a dress, gloves, a hat and a pearl necklace. Mr. Walker is wearing a suit and a bow-tie.
