Description
Jimmy Ray Woodall, left, 11, and Joe Earl Hodgkins examining an old shell, a relic of World War I. In order to obtain funds for the British war relief, they have placed the shell on display at J. R. Foster's store at Lake Worth, Texas. The boys are sitting on the floor in front of a table. Jimmy is holding the shell. Draped over the table is a sign that reads "Don't let these disturb your home. Donate to the British," and on top of the table is jar labeled "Donate Here." The boys will donate the money to the Fort Worth, Texas branch of the British War Relief Society. Both boys are wearing shirts and trousers.
