Ralph Nelson, of Dallas, Texas, student at Adamson High School, winning the discus throwing contest at a regional high school track meet in Denton, Texas. Nelson is shown in the midst of tossing a discus across the field. His left arm is extended forward and his knees are slightly bent. He is wearing a pair of shorts and a tank top that reads, "Adamson," accompanied with the letter "D" and the number "19." In the background are the bleachers and the field lights.
