Description
This group of Dublin, Texas, citizens were in Fort Worth, Texas, advertising the annual rodeo at their Erath County town. They were escorted by motorcycle police on a parade through the business district and then they danced to the tunes of Lightening C. Cowboy Band on Eighth Street between Main and Commerce. The party was comprised of 51 people, including the bandsmen. One of the members in the crowd is holding a sign labeled "World Championship Rodeo Dublin Apr. 25, 26, 27." Austin Stephens, trip chairman, is standing directly behind the microphone, wearing a shirt, trousers and cowboy hat. A line of people in the front of the group are holding various string and wind instruments.
