Mrs. Karl E. Pleger is holding her daughter, Penelope, who is sitting on her lap from Rochester, New York. They are guests with Dr. Pleger of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Reich Jr, on Mistletoe Boulevard. The Plegers will leave Monday morning to return to their home in Rochester, New York. Mrs. Pleger is the former Miss Brunhilde Reich. Mrs. Pleger is wearing a dark dress with small, light colored polka dots and large bow across the chest, and ring on her right and left ring finger. Baby Penelope is wearing a light colored dress with small embroidered flowers along the front chest area and hem of the bottom of the collared dress, socks and shoes. In the background a book trough book case filled with hard cover books is on the right side of the family. On the left, in the background, a thin table with books and sculpted book end can be seen. A window covers by slated closed blinds and open curtains is directly behind the family. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 18, 1941.
