"Open House" at the Federal Fish Hatchery on Lake Worth, Texas. Foreman A. L. Carlton, left, is shown with Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Pennington, 5100 East Belknap Street, Fort Worth, Texas. Foreman Carlton is explaining facts about daphnia in the tanks. The tank is inside a screened-in building. Both men are wearing shirts and ties. Mr. Pennington is wearing a hat, which Mrs. Harrington is wearing a coat and scarf. All three are looking into the tank. Outside the building is a dirt road. A small lake is also in the background. This photograph was published in the April 15, 1941 morning edition of the Star-Telegram.
