The men are playing in the opening game of the Texas League season at LaGrave Field. Abreu is holding a baseball bat, preparing for the pitch. Cronin is close behind him, stooped down and readying for a potential catch. Both are wearing baseball uniforms for their respective teams, and Cronin is also wearing catcher's gear, including a mask and chest protector. At the far right, background, more players can be seen on the field. To the side of the field, the stands are filled with several people looking on at the game.
