Description

At the plate before the Fort Worth Cats versus Dallas Rebel game at LaGrave Field, participating in the opening day ceremony, were, left to right, Manager Bob Linton of the Cats, President George Schepps of the Rebels, Clarence Kraft, chairman of Fort Worth, Texas' opening day booster committee, and Manager Wally Dashiell of the Rebels. The four men are holding large bouquets of flowers and a standing next to a floral wreath display. Linton and Dashiell are both wearing baseball uniforms for their respective teams, while Schepps and Kraft are wearing double-breasted suits. Kraft is also wearing a pair of eyeglasses and is holding his hat in his left hand.
