    Inspecting an old bell which called Fort Worth's first public school children to classes in 1857 and now occupies an honored place in the Masonic Temple are (left to right); Sam B. Cantey Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Texas; R. A. Massey, oldest living past master of the Fort Worth Lodge No. 148; George R. M. Montgomery, master of the lodge in 1918 and Grand Master of the Grand Lodge 10 years later. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram April 13, 1941.
