Description

Don Frye, of Arlington Heights High School, far right, hitting the finish tape as he won the 100-yard dash in the city track meet. Right behind him is Lawrence Lampkin, of Amon Carter Riverside High School, who won second. Behind the first and second place winners are six unidentified runners. All the athletes are wearing tank tops with different letters printed on them signifying their respective schools. Frye's shirt has an "A" and Lampkin's has an "R." On the side of the track, at right, are a few other track athletes and a couple of spectators looking on at the race. There is also a sign that indicates the finishing line.
