Portrait of sailor Francis Cook, standing against a bare wall, wearing a sailor uniform. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Cook, of Handley, Texas, and the brother of Haskell L. Cook, who he will be on the same crew with aboard the United States Navy's United States Ship (U. S. S.) Concord. His other brother, John L. Cook, plans to join the Navy later this year.
