Description

George Towles, Texas Christian University (T. C. U.) freshman, shown winning the 440-yard run in 56 seconds at the T. C. U.-Baylor University track meet. Mr. Towles is running across the finish line of the race. His arms are raised above his shoulders and he is wearing a tank top and a pair of shorts. Standing on the side of the track, at right, are several spectators. Mr. Towles also won the 880-yard run. In the background, the rest of the athletic field and some houses can be seen.
