The band is rehearsing for the Texas Wesleyan College's Sweetheart Revue on February 20 at the Woman's Club. They are left to right, back row - Jimmy Dungan, Sandy Sandifer. On the front row, seated, are Joe Whitaker, Bob Linton and Randy Cole. Jimmy, Sandy, Joe, Bob, and Randy are all members of the TWC Stage Band. They are dressed in matching suits and holding their instruments. Sandy with Miss Billye Louise Mullins, and Miss Jane Longmoor are looking over one of the entries in the sweetheart song contest. Billye Louise and Jane are two of the eight sweetheart candidates. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 2, 1940.
