Among those attending the Exchange Club's 17th Golden Deeds Banquet at the Fort Worth Club were, left to right, Charles F. Roeser, of Fort Worth, Texas; John R. Suman, of Houston, Texas; and K. S. Adams, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The three men are sitting next to each other at dinner table that is decorated with a tablecloth and has an array of plates and glasses. The plate in front Mr. Suman is filled with slices of meat. All three men are wearing tuxedoes and bow ties. Mr. Roeser and Mr. Adams are also wearing eyeglasses. Part of a flag can be seen behind Mr. Roeser and part of another flag can be seen behind Mr. Adams. These three were among the speakers who paid tribute to E. A. Landreth at the banquet as Fort Worth, Texas's, outstanding 1940 citizen. Mr. Suman is vice president of Humble Oil and Refining Company. Mr. Adams is president of Phillips Petroleum Company.
