Standing outside, behind the reserve champion steer of the Plainview, Texas, Fat Stock Show, are Gordon Lalla, whose steer weighed 1,150 pounds and was bred by Frank Cobb, Assistant County Agent Harry Igo, W. H. Messick, superintendent of the beef cattle division of the show, and Pete H. Smith, manager of the Plainview Chamber of Commerce. All the men are wearing shirts, trousers and hats.
