Description

The 13th annual Panhandle Plains Dairy Show is being held in Plainview, Texas. The show exhibits both dairy cattle and dairy products and attracts crowds from all over the Plains country. Miss Jacquelyn Wilkinson, of Friona, Texas, is being crowned queen of the 1941 show. She is shown at the back right. At the left is her maid of honor, Miss Myrna Gaignat of Tahoka, Texas. In the front row, left to right, are Misses Frances Eiring, Ada Ruth Hilburn, Effie Jean Day, Bobby Lee Harris, Mona McCandless, and Katrina Keys. The girls are posing on bales of hay inside a barn, wearing matching dresses.
