Description
A group of soldiers from Camp Wolters came to show their support for the visiting Brooklyn Dodgers at LaGrave Field, in Fort Worth, Texas. The baseball players are, left to right, Pee Wee Reese, Cookie Lavagetto and Paul Waner. They are standing in front of the fence that separates the bleachers from the field. Behind them, in the stands, are the fans from Camp Wolters. The players are wearing their Dodgers uniforms, baseball caps and baseball gloves. The soldiers are all dressed in military uniform. A few other people can be seen seated in the stands behind the soldiers.
