Some of these won prizes but all had a barrel of fun at the Advertising Club's first annual Whingding costume party in Pioneer Palace. Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Herndon. Mr. Herndon appears to be wearing an Uncle Sam costume and Mrs. Herndon appears to be wearing a gypsy costume. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, March 31, 1941.
