Description

Image shows a freight train derailment on the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad near Dale, Texas, in which two men were killed. One of the victims was tentatively identified as James P. Greer or James P. Gunn of Austin, Texas. The other was identified by a social security card as Tommy Eugene Wooderd, 26, of Greenbriar, Tennessee. Unidentified people are standing alongside the train and examining the wreckage. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition March 29, 1941.
