Description
Girls at the Mexican Presbyterian Center learn how to prepare a vegetable salad in the kitchen at the new center quarters. Left to right, they are Leonor Ramirez, Elizabeth Walls, Betty Del Rio and Miss Juanita Fuentes, instructor. They are standing around a wooden table that has plates and different vegetables on it. Miss Ramirez and Miss Del Rio are holding knives and cutting up vegetables. Miss Walls is peeling a vegetable. All the girls and Miss Fuentes are wearing aprons and hats. Behind them, at left, is a Detroit Jewel brand oven.
