Helen Painter, Army nurse at Camp Bowie, attending to a patient from Fort Worth, Texas. The patient, Herbert R. Patrick, of the Headquarters Battery, 133rd Field Artillery, was in an automobile accident on February 23, 1941. He is lying in a hospital bed with a tray of food over his lap.
