    Description

    The Young Men's Christian Association (Y. M. C. A.) hosted their annual banquet and fiftieth anniversary party. Reminiscing over a picture take thirty years ago are left to right, George E. Nies, J. B. Baker, Jere Reeves, T. W. Slack and W. T. Ladd. The men are pioneers of their local "Y" and the banquet served as a reunion. Mr. Nies is a charter member. He is dressed in a dark suit. Mr. Baker is a founder. He is wearing a three piece pinstripe suit. Mr. Reeves is a second executive secretary, who served from 1892-1905. He is dressed in a suit and holding a picture frame. Mr. Slack is a member of the first board. He is wearing a three piece suit. Mr. Ladd has been a member for thirty years, and was a former president. He is dressed in a three piece suit.
