Description

Charter for new scout unit presented. Three members of the Weatherford Street Methodist Church, who were instrumental in the establishment of the newly organized Boy Scout Troop tier, were presented with its charter. They are left to right, H. G. McDonald, Richard Stevens, and T. J. Lehew. J. V. Renfro is presenting the charter. Mr. McDonald is the scoutmaster. He is dressed in a double breasted suit. Mr. Stevens is the senior patrol leader. He is wearing a tweed suit. Mr. Lehew is chairman of the Weatherford Street Methodist Church's troop committee. He is dressed in a three piece suit. Mr. Renfro is the commissioner for senior scouting. He is wearing a uniform. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition January 29, 1940.
