Description
Troops from the 45th Infantry Division are arriving at Camp Barkeley, the new training facility near Abilene, Texas. Military trucks carried the 10,000 men 230-miles from Fort Sill, Oklahoma. On Friday night they unloaded most of the equipment in the dark. Men of Company K., 179th Infantry are spending their Saturday sorting through and unscrambling the luggage. Bunks, sleeping bags, blankets, trunks, and equipment is shown in a jumbled pile in front of the tents.
