Description
'Westover Hills' Part in Defense Bonds: Pictured is a portion of the Westover Hills Road, now 20 feet wide, which is to be widened to 40 feet and strengthened to meet War Department requirements for access roads to vital national defense projects. This is one of the improvements contemplated under the $1,250000 county bond issue to be submitted to a vote on March 4. There is a truck traveling down the road. Some houses are tucked away from the road, on a hill. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 21, 1941.
