New officers of the Stamp Club at J. P. Elder Junior High School are shown here looking at a rare issue in the hands of the organization's president, Calvin Foster. Standing, left to right, Bobby Whisenant, vice president; Jack Locke, secretary, and Orville Prindle, J. W. Hall and Richard Roach, auctioneer. The club was organized eight years ago, and Miss Anna McGehee is sponsor. All of them are in an office room wearing shirts and uniforms. They are at a table, examining a piece of paper. There are a couple of boxes and number of stamps on the table. There is a "Boy Scouts of America" poster in the background. There is a board with handwritten notes next to them.
