Description
Marvin Leonard, creator and owner of the Fort Worth, Texas Colonial Club, preparing to slice the birthday cake for the Club's fourth birthday. He is wearing a suit and eyeglasses and is holding a knife. The cake has three layers and has "Colonial Club" written on it in frosting. Four large candles are on the cake. The Colonial may be the venue of golf's greatest tournament in 1941, the national open. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 28, 1940.
