Ruth Ball, of Dallas, Texas, and Aaron Barker, students at Texas Christian University (T. C. U.), prepare for the university's upcoming Ranch Week. They are outdoors, sitting on a ledge in front of a building. Miss Ball is wearing a long-sleeve collared blouse, a skirt, a cowboy hat and cowboy boots. She has her left hand on Mr. Barker's right shoulder. Mr. Barker is wearing a cowboy hat, long-sleeve collared shirt, jeans and cowboy boots. His pant legs are cuffed to reveal the full length of the boots.
