Standing in a line in front of a blank wall are the Golden Gloves District Tournament champions for Fort Worth, Texas, who will attempt to win trips to Chicago, Illinois, in the state meet. The state championship will take place at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. The boxers are, left to right, Dallas Bransom (118 pounds), Dale Mingus (135 pounds), Andy Eagleton (160 pounds), Aubrey Martin (heavyweight), Buster Burrell (175 pounds), C. R. Jordan (147 pounds), Wayne Penn (126 pounds) and George Cunningham (112 pounds). They are all wearing matching jackets and athletic shorts.
