    Description

    A group of leaders of the Presbyterian Church, United States of America (U. S. A.) arrived in Fort Worth, Texas, for a one-day conference with members of the Fort Worth, Texas church. Left to right are Doctor (Dr.) and Mrs. Sam Higginbottom and Reverend (Rev.) Clayton T. Griswold. Dr. Higginbottom is the moderator and president of Allahabad Christian College in India. He is dressed in a double breasted suit. Mrs. Higginbottom is wearing dress with a brooch. She is holding her purse underneath her arm. Both Dr. and Mrs. Higginbottom are wearing eyeglasses. Reverend Griswold is a youth secretary in New York City, New York. He is dressed in a three piece suit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 25, 1040.
