Description
Joanne Mahler, dressed to represent Gainsborough's "Blue Boy", was one of 29 students of George C. Clarke School who appeared in tableaux depicting well-know paintings at a meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association. The participants were fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students selected by their classes. They were directed by Miss Byrnece Mannix. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, January 26, 1940.
