Description
A celebrity filled airplane made a stop in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on the way to New York, New York on business. Standing in the lobby of the airport are movie star Mary Astor and comedian Jack Benny. Miss Astor is best known for her roles in Dodsworth and Red Dust. Later in 1941, she is set to star in the Maltese Falcon alongside Humphrey Bogart. She is wearing a blouse, blazer, scarf, and a skirt. Without the benefit of gag writers, Jack Benny made the most of his unannounced, unrehearsed appearance at the Municipal Airport. He is dressed in a collared shirt, necktie, sweater, blazer, and trousers. He has a newspaper tucked underneath his arm.
