    Description

    Mrs. Harris Beall of, Henderson, Texas, is one of the first victims of the Fort Worth Junior Chamber of Commerce campaign against jaywalking. She is shown receiving a ticket from Karl F. Langhorst, co-chairman of the Jaycee traffic safety commission. The card reads "Here's an Invitation to Live". The Jaycees are handing out 1,000 cards to pedestrians who ignore intersections and cross streets in the middle of the block. Mr. Langhorst is holding his hat, and is dressed in a pinstripe suit. Mrs. Beall is wearing a hat, blazer, skirt, and a fur shawl. In the background is a building, automobiles, and parking meters.
