Description

Jack Grout is a professional golfer from Oklahoma and comes from a family of golfers. His older brother Dick and younger brother Dutch are also on the tour. His sister Jenny is one of the top female golfers in Oklahoma. Jack is ready to make his bid for fame, and cash in on the Winter circuit. Since living in Fort Worth, Texas, Jack has become playing partners with Byron Nelson and Ben Hogan at the Glen Garden Country Club. Jack is larger and stronger and has been hitting his woods far and straight. He is shown hitting an iron from the rough, dressed in a hat, collared shirt, necktie, sweater, and trousers. Considered to have one of the prettiest swings in the game, Jack Grout later became the one and only teacher to famous golfer Jack Nicklaus.
