Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Gillis are buyers at the National Fashion Exhibitors' showing at Hotel Texas. They take time out from shopping to play at dinner dance fearing Freddy Martin's orchestra. They are sitting at a table. Mrs. Gillis is wearing a dress and Mr. Gillis is wearing a suit and eyeglasses. On the table are cups, bowls, plates and utensils. Sitting behind them are other attendees. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, January 25, 1940.
