T. C. Rhodes shown with his two cocker spaniels. Rhodes is kneeling on the pavement. He is wearing a three-piece suit and eyeglasses. The dogs are on either side of him. On the left is Wally, a six-year-old black and white spaniel, and on the right is her son Duke, a two-year-old black spaniel. Wally was bred in Scotland and given to Rhodes by Mrs. Oliver Wimfrey, of Wichita, Kansas, in 1937. In the background, at right, are two parked automobiles.
