Mr. and Mrs. Sam A. Scott, of Arlington, Texas, were honored at an open house at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Jack D. Brown, of Fort Worth, Texas, to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Scott, retired grocerman, and Mrs. Scott were married January 8, 1891, in Wallaceburg, Arkansas, coming to Texas in 1921. They have lived in Arlington 15 years. The Scotts are shown sitting next to each other on a couch. Mr. Scott is wearing a three-piece suit with a necktie and eyeglasses. There is a flower pinned to the jacket lapel. Mrs. Scott is wearing a long-sleeve dress and eyeglasses. Pinned to her dress is a floral corsage. In the background is a lamp.
