Description
Three sports writers who covered the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, are now visiting Fort Worth, Texas. Standing in front of a fireplace, left to right, are Bud Kelland, Grantland Rice, and Bill Corum. The men are visiting Shady Oak Farm as the guests of Mr. Amon Carter. The writers made reservations for the National Open golf meet next June. Mr. Corum and Mr. Rice covered the bowl between the Fordham Rams and the Texas A&M Aggies. Mr. Kelland attended the game as a fan. Mr. Kelland, of Phoenix, Arizona, writes for the Evening Post. He is wearing a cowboy hat and a double breasted suit with a bow tie. Mr. Rice is a 60-year-old sports writer, radio commentator, and movie producer. He is dressed in a hat and a double breasted suit. Mr. Corum writes for the Journal-America. He is wearing a cowboy hat and a suit.
